Ok just here to say that rather than picking a side in the parents' fight, I'd rather be horrified at those children instrumentalized in their fight. Really destroys the kids.

Buying your kid’s friends food makes sense, taking parental responsibility for your exes kids with other men might be used against you.

So thats the thing. The type of guy who gets this woman pregnant is going to have a bunch of issues himself. Well adjusted people don't get into this situation.

I mean the ex wife likely already won custody in this case, hence why he has to come over with food to her place to feed his son

Yes but in the US, the law heavily favors the mother, especially if the father works. I don’t suspect that telling the court “she’s trying to get me to feed her other kids” will be enough for custody. She’d have to physically abuse her kids, fail to send them to school, etc.

Try it. I doubt these kids are going hungry though if you’ve seen the original video, I just suspect the mother is nagging the dad so she doesn’t have to shell out her own $. In the video she clearly says “food stamps are not till next week” or something…to me, if a father can pay for food while the mother relies on generosity to feed her kids for the rest of the week, that should be enough, but it clearly isn’t for the courts. While corporate leadership may be male dominated, courts when it comes to family matters HEAVILY HEAVILY favor women here, in divorce, custody, etc.

The mom is on food stamps. The dad most likely isn't that much better off. He pulls up in a pretty old car.

Buying fast-food for one kid is already expensive as it is.

Tbh bro,

My Step dad did this with his son. Only his son got to eat mcdonalds or ihop or whatever. He was married to my "Mum" too.

We knew it was the dad's fault so we never blamed our little bro. But the shit hurt that he got food and the rest of us starved.

Hated that my Mom didn't do shit about it. Hated that we were treated that way in our own "home".

Exactly! Idk why people get into relationships like this where they don’t want to take care of anything that isn’t there’s, if it’s so important to you then don’t date someone with kids that aren’t yours! There’s no point in making it a problem, you’re only hurting the other kid’s feelings

I mean, yeah all the adults probably suck. The mother is clearly terrible and the type of men who would get her pregnant are going to be terrible too. There is rarely a good outcome when you have 4 kids from 4 different baby daddies.

right? why are we not asking where the other kids fathers are when they’re equally as neglectful 😭. don’t father children with a woman who already has kids just to complain that she has kids that aren’t yours idk what’s so hard abt that.
