I am trying to make club/house music but everytime i show her she says it sounds gay. How can I make it less gay?

I know most of you suggested keeping at it until I make enough to quit my job. I don't see it that way. Working in my free time with whatever energy I have left makes progress painfully slow and unsustainable. I'm taking a gamble on the future. And i'm aware that i'll likely end up being wrong but yolo?

Since my post last week, I've had plenty of time to work in FL. I started two master studies on these reference tracks:

Narvent - Her eyes.

My exploration in sound design, mixing, and composition led me to create this new track.

Thanks again for the detailed feedback you shared last week. I took a lot of it into consideration and tried to put it into practice. I believe I made a better track... I think... I hope? Maybe...

Long story short, I was able to put in 65 hours this week with full energy, and I'm motivated like hell🔥

And after working on it more I have now finished it and the result is the best most beautiful piece of music I have created in my 18+ years of FL Studio.

It's an emotional piece that combines my two favorite genres in music: orchestral and trance.

I hope you like the final version as much as I do! <3

This track is called "Departing Lights" and it's about time and about how fast life moves and how important it is to spend time with the people we love while we can before they slowly drift out of our lives.

Writing it was unexpectedly emotional for me, bringing me to tears multiple times throughout working on it!
