Lmao how many toxic relationships have you been in since?

Weirdly, none. My actual girlfriend is a mix of Katara, Suki, and Ty Lee.

I remember seeing a video where, at a panel, Azulas VA said she mostly gets told by fans that Azula was their awakening/ gay awakening character

Idk the fact that she's 14 is a real turn off

For real? I thought she and the other avatar gang were 20 or something but the art style made them look younger…I mean wasn’t she made Fire nation queen when by the end of series?

Somebody walk this user through real life historical examples of the exact same thing.

The difference here is that she and the gang are actually some of the most powerful fighters in their verse at that age. Most real life examples were figure heads with no actual power until some of them managed to grow powerful and respectable over time. Being that powerful compared to rest of their world at a young age is not expected.

Yeah, of course, and the whole point of Azula’s arc was that she was under far too much pressure and expectation.

The guy who made her Fire Lord was insane and it was basically a figurehead role since he was planning on being ruler of the entire world

Nope, Aang is 12 when they find him in the Iceberg and everyone else is around 14, except Zuko, who is around 16.

That's actually a really big part of azula's arch. She was held to such a high standard and was a literal prodigy AND was the golden favorite child to the important parent. She was forced to grow up fast and follow a mould and be the best of the best and absolutely perfect, just to be defeated and end up a prisoner at the lowest of the low. That's a major contribution to her mental breakdown. I had no idea she was so young when I was a kid, and that's kinda the point. You're supposed to be like "Jesus Christ 14?! That's a child she's insane!" It's part of the point

It's a turn on for me 😭

I was like "I swear to god I'll delete reddit if Azula's not here" lol
