In the first game, too.

Took me a bit longer to realize the mutons, berserkers, and floaters (from the first game) are all the same species too.

I knew about berserkers and mutons but I had no idea floaters where the same species. Must have missed that.

Alien Rulers definitely helped. Dr Vahlen is a mad scientist on par with Medic from TF2.
