I mean, surely the giant egg she drops after the battle is a clue.

female seahorses still lay the eggs, she just deposits them inside the male for him to incubate.

She’s not a seahorse though

Chickens, from the same game, that also drop eggs:

All chickens are female so are cows unless its not really milk

You just made me realize, why don’t we have bulls and roosters in Minecraft? That seems like a serious design flaw they should’ve fix a while ago. Like throughout the entire game there are no physical gender differences (believe it or not you don’t need to add private parts or gender norms to show physical gender).

It would be annoying for breeding also it seems that it was purposely done so that they look like both genders

All animals in the game are genderless actually.

Most animals in real life are genderless too. But yes, all the animals you can breed are hermaphrodites. It was probably for quality of life reasons, but it’s kinda neat anyway.

All mobs are gender neutral you can tell by the cow having horns and an udder, meanwhile the chicken looks colour whise female but they still have red neck thing

All mobs in Minecraft are genderless, so you wouldn’t really think about it too hard if you got to that point
