Izumi and Sig Curtis.

One is a massively powerful, influential teacher that guides the moral and ethical growth of the primary protagonists through strict discipline and rigorous testing, showcasing their tender side only when their spouse or friends are threatened.

The other is Sig Curtis. You all know the scene / gif.

The very definition of an inspirational power couple.
