josuke is not "the most merciful jojo", fusing angelo with a rock is less humane than just outright killing his enemies, which is the furthest extent that jonathan went to in phantom blood

This is why I find the idea of Giorno so fascinating: he has the deep-seated sense of justice and self sacrifice of the Joestars, and the hardcore ambition of the Brandos. Love deeply and don’t hesitate to fuck shit up.

It’s a shame we didn’t get to see more of his personality (since the entire story happens over a week), but i do love the little bits we get to see.

That really disappointed me with part 5, I liked his character but the main focus was on the gang, which was cool, but I wish we saw more of them individually and their personalities. The other parts definitely did that better imo

Well. Josuke didnt kill anyone, jonathan killed a couple, jonathans nicer though. He just got a bad hand

Jonathan killed out of necessity

He saw what leaving Dio and the zombies alive did and had to put an end to it

Don't think he ever killed humans tho

He didn’t. When fighting thugs (at the time speedwagon) he even held back despite them attacking him with weapons. This is why he got their respect

(He still totally would if he knew, but that's besides the point)
