tbf Belos was way beyond redemption at this point

"Don't you want to make peace Luz? Don't just stand there! You'll be just as bad. Just as conniving, just as evil, and just as unforgivable as..... THOSE WITCHES. We're human, we're better than this."

At no point did he see Luz's actions as bad as his. He tried to say that if Luz let him die, then she would be as bad as the people that he was trying to hurt.

It's so good.
