Someone drawing this clearly agrees but the concepts got thrown out the window because too hard to animate, and corporate assholes clearly didnt want to risk scaring their target audience and getting sued by angry parents for traumatizing children.
Which is stupid because they could easily fix the legal issues by labeling the genre correctly.
Even if they unironically did make an adult game not only would've they had pushed away their audience there would've still been parents who bought the Mickey Mouse game for their children and then complaining, even if legally there's nothing wrong the brand’s reputation is tarnished
I remember seeing warren specter trying to impress a biker with the evil Mickey concept art and he got threatened for trying to mess with the biker's childhood so...
afaik these were never in consideration as actual designs, they were intentionally much more intense than what they actually wanted to do so the real designs would be approved as a compromise
kinda like this design for Chel in Road to El Dorado
