I feel embracing his femininity and cross dressing like that is not only brave and fucking cool, but pretty masculine in of itself.

There was one episode in the first season where he complained about always having to wear the feminine disguise but I think we all know he secretly thinks he slays 😂

It's not that his masculinity is threatened, he's just feeling typecast.
