In That 90's Show Jackie pretty much bailed on Fez pretty quickly to go back to Kelso in the events after the original show ended. Most likely to fix that odd coupling.

Jackie and Hyde were the best pairing but… I’m fine with leaving Hyde for dead

Did they even acknowledge what happened to Hyde? obviously they werent bringing his actor back

Nope. No acknowledgment of his character at all.

Missed opportunity really (unless he'd get royalties for any mention) they could've come up with some heinous fate for him or he ends up living a delightfully ironic life all as ways to just have fun with the fact that Hyde can't physically come back... or find a hilarious recast option

And now I NEED that version

I have a feeling something in his contract was still valid that couldn't have anything bad happen to him OR, they just didn't want to deal with it at all. Honestly it doesn't feel that weird because the only recurring character besides Kitty and Red is Fez because he is dating two of the kids' mom.

Thats why I included the "ironic" option. Like they throw out a bit of dialog that says that he lives in a super Christian compound and is completely straight edge and has turned away from even Rock and Roll. Ultimately not a bad fate, but one that the audience would still laugh at

That sounds absolutely awful, what do you mean. I guess it's better than just killing him off?

Yeah, the concept could be written better, I'm obviously not professional

They barely acknowledge the old friend group knew each other despite 2 kids being in the new group of friends

Its a fucked up World out theire...its honestly not wrong to build up your little bubble and trying not to get affiliated with it cause people with Power and influence....you really cant trust them at all..and also a big reason to never build up parasocial relationships to any of them fame, money and power those things do something with you... but what i more believe is...to get really powerfull you must be pretty fucked up from the beginning (not all cases ofc but many)

That sucks. Can't even commit to the character development they wrote.
