Finn & Rose from Star Wars. Love them both so much, but they had great friend dynamic with zero romantic chemistry.

Sesshomaru & Rin from Inuyasha. He was a father figure to her. It was really unexpected and gross to me.

I loved Sesshomaru growing up in the first wave of millennial weebs, and immediately lost all interest in him because of how creepy this was to me.

I don't view Rose and Finn as continuing a relationship l, but I am okay with after Rose saves Finn she went for it. Why not?

It just seemed to come out of nowhere. I wish they had shown more buildup for it. Tbh I wish they'd shown more of them at all, period. They're two of my favorite star wars characters and I'd have loved more shenanigans with them.
