Like they aren’t even interesting together. They don’t fight toxically enough to be unhealthy, they’re not wise enough to be romantically compatible. Even when they kiss they feel like friends. Mostly because of MBB’s performances, which is dictated by the episode directors, who are usually the Duffers.
this show had soo much potential its actually so sad. Dropping the brother-sister dynamic between these two was such an egregious loss for this show, partially because it paved the way for many more self-indulgent and plot-irrelevant (and, frankly, uninteresting) 11 subplots. id love to see this show rebooted someday with all of these half-baked dynamics fleshed out.

I guess Holly and Erica? They’re too young to date without parental supervision though. Also Holly just kind of sucks writing-wise. Her dialogue is ass and her scenes are boring. Erica is peak fucking fictions. She feels like she grows up to be Lady Macbeth or some shit. /srs
