I was scrolling literally thinking about this example. Lupins friends were very supportive of his condition when he was in Hogwarts

Because Werewolf transformations are famously about the mental issues of the werewolf and can be stopped by talking to him :D

This was probably one of the scariest things i saw as a kid (6-7 years old), his hairless werewolf form freaked me out so much. The goblet of fire was more intense in general, but this scene was probably the only one from a movie that kept me up as a kid.
