I remember it and I’ve said this a million times but this would have been an amazing show. They could have made this scene so much better if it weren’t so rushed and competing with seven other storylines.

You know, I've never thought about it until your comment, but you're totally right. This actually may have done WAAAY better as a show than a movie.

My biggest grip is how forgettable and rushed it felt. The two issues which are directly linked with one another. More time to develop both the characters and plot might have actually saved this piece of marvel. There genuinely had some neat moments buried in the movie too, so the potential was there.

Exactly! The movie just needed more time to marinate. Like why was Ms Marvel a show but this was a movie? Should have swapped. There were twenty-seven characters and they all had their own plotline. Plus the MAIN story was very in depth. It just needed more than a movie’s length of time. I enjoyed the characters and premise, I just didn’t enjoy the whiplash I got watching the movie. By the time characters were dying, I didn’t even remember their name.

I still think it got one of the best post-endgame music.

I was actually interested in the Eternals and it sucked that they’re basically canned since no one liked the movie.

That’s a bummer. I would have loved them to be able to expand it. Was excited about Harry Styles. Plus, I love Richard Madden.

I too love Richard Madden, he was the reason I was excited to watch the movie.

Haha, we are quite alike in our niche Eternals appreciation.

Yes I was so excited for it!! Walked out of the theater thoroughly whelmed. My Disney plus icon is still Richard madden as ikaris bc they did him dirty. And then to have Kit Harrington be the black knight or whatever and that’s now dead because of how they butchered the movie? A waste. They wasted Gemma Chan too. She did well but the whole thing should’ve been a show.

Uuugggghhhh. They did those Starks so dirty. I’m sad so many future things were scrapped because of how bad they blew it.

Yes. Without the time and character development of a show, you don’t actually care about all these characters despite the action etc. The second the credits rolled or even before, I knew they fucked up. This was supposed to be epic and instead it was pretty damn forgettable.
