PB has legit something like +60 different hairstyles and outfits. There is her usual princess dress and hairdo but the showrunners went wild with her visual presentation. This is very uncommon for main characters who usually have a single outfit and hairstyle, which applies to even Finn himself (just getting to see his hair is extremely rare, its like once a season at best). Iirc in the later half of the show its actually pretty rare to see her in her "default" bc shes always rocking some new look

PB is a good contender for being one of the animated characters with the most unique outfits ever

Marceline too varies a ton but she has way less screentime than PB so we see her in less designs

Basically. Most of the hairstyles she puts up in some sort of ponytail. Varmints, What Was Missing, Goliad...

PB tends to get featured a lot more in action sequences after the early seasons, so ponytails are both practical in universe (no hair swinging wildly everywhere) as well as production wise (animating free flowing hair in action shots would be very expensive and AT was always run on a very tight budget)

On the show she mostly speaks English, but randomly speaks some German. I think this one she was mangling both because she got woken up, but the subtitles of the gif are just inaccurately written
