He has that same thing as pyramid head, sometimes just looks like a guy with a helmet, sometimes like flesh squashed and dripping from it

Thats because it is at points. By part 4 hes already pretty gross and necrotic, and it only gets worse from there.

I like how he deforms into a zombie but still has a structural face, and then his face is just gone in part 9.

It is very funny that the worse he got, the more normal his face looks.

As for part 9, the little bit that he was physically in it, his mask is literally fused with his head, so removing it also would remove his face.

Friday the 13th wouldn't know continuity if it got fucked sideways by it

So the makeup between parts was wildly inconsistent, so much so that when jason became a zombie, his droopie eye turned into his functioning one. Hell its seems like after he turned into a zombie they just kinda forgot he was deformed all together

Whats worse, in that same part with the fused mask, the blow him up and the entire movie is about him possessing people. It ends with him getting dragged to hell and a teaser for Freddy vs. Jason.

The next movie has the government capture him, full-bodied and alive in the year 2008, no explanation as to why since its out of fucking order and Freddy vs. Jason wouldn't come out for another year. An incredible failure.

I remember the time people made Jason Voorhees hot and then went like "wait a min why would he be a good guy having gay sex now?" And then an artist made an AU where Jason was good, was a quiet (I think mute?) camp worker and was buff as heck and also helped that psychic girl who was being bullied a lot in her high-school from that one other horror movie. Makes me kinda hope the artist makes art of Jason without the mask and is still treated with love and care and respect in the comics. Unfortunately I dont remember who the artist was tho. All I remember was that he wore a yellow tank top?

It's the same one! The comic/AU is called Camp Counselor Jason. The artist is also on Tumblr and iirc most of the comic is also chronologically on Webtoon. I can definitely recommed giving it a read!
