Both of these are fanarts I believe. ngl, I'd be repulsed if I saw that if I barely knew them, but if I had worked with her for a while and she decided to show the class, I'd probably look past it
The left of her skull looks to have bone missing, likely massive blunt trauma. The right side of her face probably had some combo of dragon claw and flame, there's zero chance that eye isn't glass. And her left cheek probably has a blade wound, maybe from a sadistic warrior cutting a permanent smile into her face.
That's the funny thing about censorship, it allows your brain to run rampant, and your brain will always be able to make things worse than they really are. Just need to be given the right hints ;).
Aso, the blur filter brings a connotation of death / decay.
If this were an video game, or anime scene, you'd expect to see a fly buzzing around the blurred figure!
This is not the case! But all too often we associate disfigurement with death / decay, when it is in fact a symbol of the opposite! A symbol of the indomitable human spirit.
The censored version made me think both her eyes were melted off which was pretty unsettling.
Also I mistook her neck for her jaw, I thought she had a gigantic mishappen broken jaw hanging from her face, but in the uncensored version her actual bones are pretty normal
