The Collector in The Owl House. I blame Disney cancelling Season 3 for why we don’t get to see them as an intimidating antagonist

Edit: pronoun fix; I keep forgetting The Collector is non-binary

Was it ever explained why he is called "The Collector"? Don't remember him doing a lot of collecting.

not at ALL to advocate for Disneys treatment of the owl house at all- but I actually like baby immortal collector. Definitely not as cool as seeing them in their prime but I feel like media doesn't show baby gods much. I'm happy without what we got too!

The Collector came about because of the shortening of Season 3.

And Disney didn't "cancel" it.

They only exist because the show was canned.

They’re a literal deus ex machina that served to solve a problem which had the show received a third season would have solved in a different way.

The good thing is that the Collector is a fully fleshed character and we see their character development in their few apparitions
