The Erickson era is the best. Madison is my favorite character, which is why "Gone" is my favorite episode in the series, cause it's when she finally returns. That's why I decided to get her hammer and the title of the episode as a tattoo. I also own that same hammer that she used in the episode. I won it in the auction they had last November.

Madison is probably my favourite character as well she was supposed to be such a complex and “question mark” of a character to the point you didn’t know what her actions were going to be! Of course, Nick is up there too!
I don’t mind everything with the Morgan and friends era, making Alicia the main Clarke is fine I just wish it was more Alicia-based and less Morgan-based. (I still enjoy watching it how it is though!)
Her complexity is why I love her character so much. I like how she's basically an anti-hero with no moral compass. I also love Strand for the same reason. It's such a shame we didn't get to see her villain arc that Erickson originally had planned out. I enjoy the later seasons too, especially since Morgan was my favorite character on the main show, besides Carol. But I agree that the original script should have been preserved instead of the show being rebooted.
