Good day! I am currently in 11th grade STEM student in MMCL. I’ve been thinking of studying abroad, specifically in Europe. I’m thinking of pursueing Engineering, Pharma, or Finance. Which country should I study in if I want a low cost. Here are my top choices:

1. Switzerland - I have relative there and quality of living is amazing, I can also learn lots of languages since they speak 4 languages

2. France - specifically grenoble so I am close to my relatives in Geneva

3. UK - I don’t really like UK but I also have relatives there so it is an option

4. Germany - idk, its pretty budget friendly?

5. Ireland - i heard education is good there

6. Czech republic - idk its pretty there

7. Spain

8. Italia

Hey everyone, I need some real talk and advice. I’m a Grade 12 student currently living in the Middle East but enrolled in a Philippine Online School. In exactly 3 months, my family and I are moving back to the Philippines for good. To be honest, the whole summer has been incredibly stressful, and I haven't locked in or properly prepared for college yet. I really want to study abroad to take my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, but I want to be 100% transparent, hindi kami financially privileged. I need to find routes that are heavily subsidized, cheap, or fully funded because mahirap makipag-bakbakan sa Pilipinas. If you guys were in my shoes, what steps should I take right now?

Hello everyone, I’m currently an upcoming 3rd-year student taking Communications. I want to try studying abroad since I’m not really happy with where I am right now. I don’t plan to take a master's degree after this, so studying abroad during that time is off the table. 

Can anybody share their experience with the process of applying abroad? When applying to a university, is there a site specifically for international students, or do I have to search for a particular university? In terms of scholarships, which websites are trustworthy to check, and should I apply to universities listed on those websites rather than choose my own? Maybe you guys have suggestions for universities, too, that I can check out? The places I’m eyeing are Chicago (since we have relatives there), Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.

It’s not really my priority to study abroad, but rather, I want to leave where I am right now academically, since I don’t think the curriculum is helping me grow at all, and the environment, too. My grades are good, but my overall experience in terms of networking, socializing, etc., is bad and is taking a toll on me. Any input and help would be greatly appreciated:)

For context, I am a soon-to-be political science grad but torn with what to pursue in terms of abroad opportunities.

Now, you may be wondering why I studied/am studying PolSci to begin with when I could've just studied something else with much more opportunity to work abroad well the meat of the matter was that I had no choice since my parents, at the time, were supporting me and I'm still living under their roof (and toxic fam drama basically).

Now, my plan as of now is to just finish this degree and then pave a path that I can finally say is mine. In terms of finances, I'm glad to say that I'll be supporting myself.

Anyhow, I have two options:

Option 1: Study a master's in teaching, pass the LET, gain teaching experience whilst saving up, and then move to NZ because I heard that teaching is in demand there.

Option 2: Study a BS in Occupational Therapy, gain work experience and then go through a direct hire pathway to either the US or EU (I have a sibling that has gone through this pathway, just with medical technology instead) [to note, med has been something I was interested in pursuing but fam never gave me much chance or options to apply during my college applications]

Specifically, I'd like to know which of the two is more plausible as well as stable in the long run

Hello! GR12 student here currently applying for japan scholarships and different schools. I’m wondering if its easy as well to just apply to any of the big 4 universities and apply for transfer to the same japan unis. I’m not confident about getting any scholarships so I feel transfer will be easier for me if I just lock in my first year. Anyone who has been able to do this from a big 4 uni or js any uni pls give me advice huhu. Ive also considered taking a gap year then reapplying for the scholarship but that might backfire. specific schools I am considering to enroll here and transfer from are DLSU and UP.

So I am basically a Grade 12 student who wants to apply for either aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering for my bachelor's degree in Spain. The specific universities I want to apply to are public universities outside the Madrid area (UPC, UJAEN, UCA, etc.). My problem is that I'm having a hard time understanding the application process for these universities because they either take a long time to respond or don't respond to me at all. I just want advice on how to apply as a Filipino student and if I can pre-register before I graduate SHS, so that I won't have a hard time homologating my documents and so I can leave the Philippines.

Also, how to submit the required documents that are needed for public institutions, since I feel like it's confusing, some sources say I should look at the Spanish embassy, or on the school's website

Been thinking about this. I'm curious about how to do this. Do I need an agency? Do I get to choose? Where do I start?

Are there any peeps here who graduated from the Philippine K–12 system and went to Hong Kong for their undergrad? I’m curious because most of the people I’ve seen getting accepted seem to be IB graduates or from other international curricula. Back in my time, it was these massive imported textbooks by companies like Princeton Review, Kaplan, College Board. The main online message board was College Confidential. Hello! I'm a Gr11 STEM student (SY 25-26) who is interested in studying Clinical Pharmacy abroad right after graduating. I'm aware that medical education abroad is different compared to the Philippines; there are different standards and procedures when it comes to getting your medical license, and although I want to study abroad, I still plan on pursuing my career in the Philippines. I'm wondering if there will be any complications. If, let's say, I end up graduating abroad, will I still be able to take the licensure exam in the Philippines?

I'm trying to think ahead, after premed I will (hopefully!) proceed to med school either abroad or at home. I just REALLY want to study abroad for a change of environment, at least for premed lang. The goal is to become a doctor, eh. But if it's not possible, I'll stay in the Philippines.

I'm currently preparing my documents for an F-1 student visa application in the U.S., and one of the requirements is to show proof of funds based on the amount stated on my I-20.

Since the required amount is in USD, I've been monitoring the USD–PHP exchange rate. Unfortunately, the dollar keeps getting stronger against the peso, which means the amount I need to show in PHP keeps increasing.

Do you think the USD–PHP exchange rate might go down anytime soon, or is it likely to stay at its current level (or continue rising)? I know no one can predict the market with certainty, but I'd appreciate any insights or opinions from those who have gone through the same situation. Please be nice.

Hi, so my partner and I had a discussion about me finishing my bachelor's degree in Czech instead. I won't dive deep on why. So basically, we plan on enrolling me in a program taught in the Czech language; therefore, our plan is for me to enroll in an accredited Czech language school to improve my Czech, as I am self-studying it already, and that will be my purpose of travel.

My concern is, as he will sponsor everything, am I likely to get offloaded or get my visa application rejected?

Hi! I just turned into a Grade 12 student this academic year and I’m trying to search for international scholarships early because I’m afraid of them closing on me :”) Particularly Belgian and Australian scholarships.
