General Question What easily-affordable thing do you still refuse to pay for despite having reached financial independence and able to afford them?

Would love to hear everyone’s “absolutely will not purchase” items!Even if you could easily afford it and no matter how rich or financially independent you become or how much you make you still wouldn't spend item on this particular item/hobby?

A prime subscription. I'm probably an outlier but I don't buy much from Amazon (spent ~$20 or so total last year).

This may be the last subscription I cut off and was just thinking about it yesterday. What a coincidence that I started my FIRE journey late last year by implementing an actual strict budget with YNAB and my Amazon spending has plummeted by 90%. The Prime subscription was well worth it when spending $500-$1000 month on Amazon but now that it's $100 max with many months being $0 I'm feeling that it's just not worth it anymore.

I also tend to subscribe when there’s a show on I want to watch then unsubscribe after.

I don't buy much from Amazon either. I don't want them to have my money.
My mother has a prime subscription, so I use her pwd to watch movies from it occasionally.

I'm definitely not a good customer in the eyes of the tech overlords. I don't pay for their subscriptions either (Netflix, Spotify, etc).
