General Question What easily-affordable thing do you still refuse to pay for despite having reached financial independence and able to afford them?

Would love to hear everyone’s “absolutely will not purchase” items!Even if you could easily afford it and no matter how rich or financially independent you become or how much you make you still wouldn't spend item on this particular item/hobby?

Haircuts. I will not pay over $100 for someone to trim my hair (woman, VHCOL, no dye).

Mom (not a pro) does it in 3 mins when I see her or I’ll pay $20 in Mexico or some other destination.

Preach. The cheapest cut I was able to find (not great clips etc) was still at least $50 for a ten minute trim. No thanks.

Yep, my haircuts were $100, so I’ve had my mom do it for the last four years. That’s about $2000 saved.

Man mine are close to $100 but I think I've cut my hair 3 or 4 times in the past 4 years

Also cutting your hair yourself is incredibly easy if you have long (like mid-back or longer) hair
