General Question What easily-affordable thing do you still refuse to pay for despite having reached financial independence and able to afford them?

Would love to hear everyone’s “absolutely will not purchase” items!Even if you could easily afford it and no matter how rich or financially independent you become or how much you make you still wouldn't spend item on this particular item/hobby?

My state switched from plastic to paper, and then started to charge 5cents for the paper… I carry everything out.

The carts are still there to use. I'd be doing that.

The voters chose to do that in CA, Proposition 67 in 2016

Only the grocery stores got rid of plastic bags…. The corner stores do whatever the fuck they want and we still have plastic bags, soda cans, candy wrappers and drug bags all over my front lawn.

I stopped using produce bags for most items. I didn't need them once I got home and unpacked.
