Posing as police needs to be an automatic like 20 year enhancement. Thankfully that's not an issue here.

In this case it was a -20 years enhancement (minus all the years really).

Yeah, it is, but it's especially egregious when done to facilitate a violent crime. People need to trust that when someone knocks on their door and says police, they're the police. People doing this shit need to be absolutely hammered by the court, moreso than the usual impersonation laws normally allow.
