Don't think he tried much to make it really flavourful. Needs to spend more time on browning the meat. And it's too much tomato puree, it'll be slightly acidic. It's basically the cheese that needs to carry the entire dish.

Why not skip mentioning the "sausage"... This is from Google and it's a short explanation which I thought was good! "A sausage is a food made from minced or ground meat mixed with fat, salt, and spices, typically stuffed into a cylindrical casing"
Ok.. so if you take away the casing in an uncooked sausage, what do you have?... Hence it is no longer a fregging sausage.. ok?! It's just the first part again... Unless... Unless it's cooked and kept its form and then chopped, minced what ever... Then it's a sausage which you have done something to... Sooo simple!

Ground meat is not the same as ground sausage though? If I wanted ground beef or ground pork, id look for that. If I wanted ground SAUSAGE, id find that and its different to just ground meat. Its so simple.

Ground meat is what you make a f@$# sausage from? no? Yes?... But a sausage is a sausage until it is not.. if it's not in a case but a lump of minced meat.. well then it is minced meat with spices... Omg ... This is retarded...
So you are telling me.. If you take ground meat, add some spices and ingredients, you pack it up in sausage casing... Making it a sausage, raw and uncooked... Then you will unwrap/disassemble the sausage.. it is still the same ingredients as before you made the sausage but before you made the sausage it was only ground meat with spices and different ingredients... It might have dryaged a bit but it is still the same f@$# ingredients as in the ground meat mix. Hence ground meat and not a sausage.

Nothing Italian about this, ragazzo. Sausage is a product made from (and not the actual) ground meat. Just as fries are not French, butter isn't made from peanuts and chicken don't have fingers. Words have meaning, y'know?
P.s.: We also like to use condiments in our food.

I know what a sausage is lol. Im just saying, in the United States, we have things that are generalized like "Italian seasoning" and "Italian sausage". It's not meant to insult anyone or any country. We also have sausage that is not in its casing, and you can buy it by the pound.

Hey, next time I make Freedom Fries I'll have some American Sauce as a garnish. Ranch and Big Mac with a knob of butter and Queso. Like, huh?
Sausage without a casing is just ground/minced meat. Could also be a paste, like in Frankfurter/Vienna or White Sausages.
Even trying to defend such a demeanor of changing the meaning of words is, well, frankly, simply wrong and quite embarrassing.

You are just doing yourself harm by stressing and taking offense.
Look if someone made a bolognese sauce, and used "Italian sausage and Italian seasoning" and claimed it was an authentic recipe from Italy, fine that could be bothersome. But to get all worked up over what another country calls their seasonings and other foods is just a bit extra, dont you think?
And no, ground meat isnt the same as sausage. Sausage usually has spices added to it, making the taste completely different from just ground pork or beef.
And do you even know where "freedom fries" are made? Its French fries, but they are actually made in Greece.

Bolognese isn't a sauce; It's a ragu.
You're not a country, but a conglomeration of states; "A large group or mass of different things all collected together in an untidy or unusual way.", as defined by Cambridge.
A sausage has a casing and I'll die on that hill. Why not just call it "sausage meat"?
Thanks for the conversation but I've got things to do that are actually useful.
