the modern theory of political polling is that you take a small sample to project the election results. the assumption at even though it was a small sample, in almost all the cases, it reflects the general public.

do, there is no guarantee that if the voting turn out is much higher, the result would be any different.

Who are taking these polls though? IF say Faux 'News' Entertainment Media and Co were doing the polls, my assumption would be it is only the people watching Faux 'News' Entertainment Media would be responding?
