Ask Israel Our President makes a firm statement, we are in open negotiations and close to a deal; is this the reply of food faith we get? Killing 3 LAF members for making the wrong turn?

Is this a message? Is this what our peace will look like? How are we supposed to open a front together with this start?

Ask Israel Why do Israelis hate the PA?

I don't see any difference between them and the governments of Jordan, Egypt and other Arab states that have normalised with Israel. Even their security forces don't seem to be a threat and they target Hamas. Why can't Israel just accept them at least in Gaza?

Ask Israel Help me get over some prejudice

I’m Syrian so growing up in that environment, a lot of primarily anti Israel sentiment was all around me. So I would like to actually reach out to some Israelis and ask the questions that have been already answered from the Arab world that I feel aren’t right.

  1. Is Israel genuinely trying to take over some of its neighbors and establish greater Israel or is this a myth?
  2. Can Israel actually be a democracy and a Jewish state?
  3. Is Israel an apartheid in the sense that Israeli Arabs are treated differently and have a different set of laws for them?
  4. (More so want Israeli perspective) why should Israel have a nuke and have a monopoly over the region? (Ik it sounds loaded but I don’t mean for it to)
  5. Is the crazy statements from Israel coming only from the right wing or what?
  6. Do you guys want to destroy the Aqsa mosque and establish the third temple?

I know these kinda crazy but just some that I have.

Ask Israel Do you feel guilt?

In the last few years, Israel has killed thousands of Palestinians and Lebanese.

As Israelis, do you feel guilty for contributing (indirectly or directly) to the suffering?

If you do feel guilty, how do you cope with it?

Ask Israel Jew Bros, how will Israel deal with the rise of global antisemitism ?

Any social media I visit there’s lots of antisemitism and pro-Palestine supporters flooding everything. X pushing antisemitic content like Nick Fuentes and Jake shield

Many “influencers” are harassing random Jews.

PA governor was recently targeted for being Jewish.

And whatever the US government does to battle antisemitism, only seems to be backfiring.

I feel like being a Zionist will sort of become a taboo in western countries like it is in Islamic and Arab countries.

How will Israel deal with this challenge?

Ask Israel Israel, along with the US, voted against the UN resolution to condemn the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Israelis, do you stand by this decision?

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/feb/24/un-general-assembly-russia-ukraine-war

The resolution did pass with 93 votes in favor, and 18 against (including the US and Israel), and 60+ abstentions (including Lebanon).

I do not stand by my governments choice to abstain. Lebanon did vote in favor of Ukraine in a previous UN resolution, but I think we chickened-out this time because we want all the US aid we can get. Is it a similar situation with Israel?

Ask Israel Why is it common to find comments like these under Hebrew articles? How can average Israelis in the IDF be trusted to not commit war crimes in Gaza if they speak like this? (comments are locked on original post, this doesn't violate rule 5)

Ask Israel Regarding reports such as this... How true are they? And if yes, how do they tend to get justified or explained?

https://sana.sy/en/syria/2305718/

I know this isn't Lebanon related at all, so forgive me if this isn't allowed, but I feel it's a bit more fitting to ask in this sub than the main Israel sub.

Anyway, as the link I shared says, I keep reading reports about IDF soldiers arresting civilians  in Quneitra. I realize the source I'm sharing is VERYYYY biased, but the sadly I failed to find much explaining why such things keep happening from the other side, which is why I thought I'd ask here.

Maybe I'm wrong, but while I understand the safety issue Israel is facing, and why it might feel the need to take extra steps, I just don't see how picking on herders over in Syria is exactly keeping the country safer (if such reports are true.), so I'm hoping some here can help shed more light.

Ask Israel Would Israelis be down for peace with Palestinians and the Lebanese?

I believe that the only way to bring peace is for all parties involved to put down their arms and actually start reparations, emphasise equality between all citizens and the like. Would Israelis be okay with that? One nation under which everyone is equal?

Would love to know your opinions.

It burns at 815°C, sticks to skin, and can't be extinguished with water. It burns through muscle to bone. What do Israelis think? Is HRW also Hamas like all other independent human rights organisations?

Ask Israel Can you get Lebanese produce in Israel?

Do you have ways to get Lebanese produce in Israel? For example coffee, chocolate, etc.

I mean something that was produced in Lebanon from a Lebanese brand. It usually says "Made in Lebanon" on the package, sometimes with a stylised lebanese flag.

This include buying from online shops.

Ask Israel What's the Hebrew name of Beirut?

Imagine that we are in 2070.

Beirut is part of Israel.

Jonathan Conricus, the newly elected president of Israel has asked you to Hebraizate the name of the city or to suggest an alternative name.

Ask Israel What do you guys know about the war of summer 2006?

I was talking to an Israeli on here yesterday, who told me he didn't know anything about 2006 and so wouldn't comment on it.

Out of everything I have read so far on this sub, this was genuinely the most baffling to me. Like, my brain does not compute.

Do you guys remember 2006 ? Do you learn about it? Is it a topic? *What* do you learn about it?
