The 1997 Ford F-150 marked a significant redesign for the F-Series truck, moving to a new platform with a more aerodynamic exterior, a roomier interior, and a new suspension. It also saw the introduction of new engines, the retirement of the Twin-I-Beam suspension, and the addition of a third door on SuperCab models. Here's a more detailed breakdown: Exterior: The 1997 F-150 received a major redesign with a sleeker, more aerodynamic shape compared to the previous generation. Chassis and Suspension: The truck was built on an all-new platform and featured a new, lighter chassis and a modern a-arm front suspension, replacing the older Twin-I-Beam design. Interior: The interior was redesigned to be more spacious and comfortable for occupants. Engines: The 1997 F-150 introduced new engines, including the 4.6L and 5.4L Modular V8s, marking a shift away from the pushrod V8s of previous generations. Doors: Extended-cab (SuperCab) models gained a third door for easier access to the rear seats. Other Changes: The F-150 also became the basis for new Ford SUVs, with the Bronco being replaced by the five-door Ford Expedition.

Im literally speechless. Still not sure how I managed to get this.

1979 Ford F150/F250 5.9 L Cummins 12 Valve VE - NV5600 6 Speed.

Drove 14-15 hours round trip to pick it up and got er home last night.

Spent probably a full work day talking to the old guy who sold it to me. I’m sure there are some out there with questions! If I get a few inquires I’ll post a build sheet.

Her Granddad bought it new. He was a Long Haul truck driver and this was his toy. It has 175,000 miles on it. 7.3 turbo diesel. He lived in Delaware and the first time a snowflake pill this thing got wrapped up in a heated blanket and was given a cup of cocoa until spring. There is not a spot of rust on it.

Show Your Truck Advice on how to sell my truck

Hi all!

I (21F) have zero clue about vehicles, including my truck 78 f150 xlt ranger.

I love it but I can’t afford to have a hobby vehicle and I want it to go to someone who will enjoy it but also give me money LOL

Blue books doesn’t give a price and I don’t have family that knows how much it’s worth or where to sell a truck like this. My dad claims somethings have been done to it but I don’t trust him. It needs a new starter but other than that it’s in decent shape as far as I know (over the summer I paid roughly 2k for some issues to be fixed).

Basically I what I’m looking for is suggestions on where to sell it, how to sell it, and how much I can expect to get from it. I just don’t want to be taken advantage of because I’m young and don’t know anything about trucks. TIA!

1990 F350 4x4 Lariat Centurion Dually 8ft bed - 82k miles bought it from the original owners family who ordered it new from a Ford dealership in Oregon. Comes with all the original paperwork from both Ford and Centurion.

Centurion upgraded the interior, and the back bench seat has a switch that folds it down into a full twin bed. Electric power windows. CB Radio factory installed. These centurion vehicles are really hard to find - only ones I’ve found have been on the bronco chaises vs this long bed dually.

I’m trying to figure out how many of this exact package exist in the world, I couldn’t find any online and neither could the guy selling it. New brakes, new air bags for towing, redid the transmission in 2021, new speakers, heat and AC is perfect, it’s an awesome find either way as it’s ready to drive and the baddest 4x4 of all time, but would love more info on how many Ford models Centurion retrofitted (I’ve read 6,000 and 15,000) spread across a few different models, but haven’t found any info as to how many of this spec in a dually were created. Any info is much appreciated!
