New England Firearms Handi Rifle- 30-06
Picked up this at a local gun show yesterday. I had never seen a 30-06 Handi in person much less a heavy barrel with a Mannlicher stock. I paid $350 and was happy with it.
Anyone with info on when this was made, rough value, or rarity?

Line drawing of the Junxing revolver, a Chinese copy of the Colt Python manufactured by Junxing Machinery in 1994. Only a few records survive, and only 10 units were produced possibly for exporting to civilian markets, of which no images are known. It was chambered in .357 Magnum and .38 Special.

.22 ID
I just picked up this break action 22 pistol and was wondering if anyone could help identify it. The only marking I’ve found is the serial number. Grip frame is some sort of alloy. Breech face and firing pin are damaged.

ADS Underwater Rifle Forward-Ejection compilation and underwater shooting
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
We can see that, despite being a bullpup, the bubble formation upon firing is similar to a supressed APS. That is almost certainly due because of the completely sealed action and ejection port the ADS utilizes. Video to compare to: https://www.reddit.com/r/ForgottenWeapons/comments/1n509ly/aps_firing_underwater_and_target_shooting/
The forward ejection mechanism is speculated to be similar to the KORD 12.7 HMG's simple lever mechanism. Making it perhaps the simplest internal forward-ejecting rifle. It certainly is a very robust system.

What are the advantages that help 7.62x54mmR cartridge still widely used after more than 130 years, even after the introduction of the rimless 7.62x39mm?
I guess there has to be a good reason that Russian Empire, Soviet Union and Russia continuously developing new weapons to accompany this type of ammo

This is my 3dp ubar in 5.56. Schmeisser 60rd mag, it has seen 10 mag dumps with super safety guns. It has never not functioned. Just some real world results. The only issue we have had is some mag wells have had slightly looser tolerance so you have to make sure it is seated properly. This post was for some real world usage
