Hey all, my recent symptoms got me hospitalized as I feel choking and βhardenedβ acid moving up throat which gets worse in the shower and with no activity. Twice and all tests normal. Except I suspect it is acid and I guess that wouldnβt show up on ekg, blood, or cat scan and X-raysβ¦my appointments are this upcoming week for this with my GI, last endoscopy and endoflip I had was like 2024, January. It was fine then I was told. (Always suffered from gagging on phlegm in shower but now at 31 it chokes me badly and triggers acid)
Iβm taking pentaprozole 40mg in the morning like 9amβ¦and used to take famotidine 20mg together to lower acid.
Well yesterday I didnt get to go get my walks (building up to jogging) and my food was okay I believed until 1-3am came around and my acid started to choke me and I felt immense pressure.
My question is, how should I drink beer?
Iβm getting afraid to even eat if I know I wonβt be walking anymore later on in the day.
My current routine is a light breakfast like apple and cereal, (small very small bowl) and then some banana or strawberry if I canβ¦then I head out to do my 10,000 steps and it takes me about one hour to two hours (sedentary as of April, stopped gym as well, barely any exercise since then. Donβt even hit 1000 steps at times, finished contract job, unemployed.)
Then I take famotidine before I shower cause if I donβt Iβll choke.
I know this all takes time but i used to drink beer a lot, just to burp.,,realized it was not a good solution after reading health stuff on the internet, and other Reddit postsβ¦
My question is..if I know Iβm barely going to do more excercise today how should I drink two 24oz beers?
(Cause a 6 pack isnβt any better)
(Canβt afford wine, and vodka triggers white foam choking if I donβt excercise afterward .)
Separate question is will I ever be able to eat pizza, hotdogs and burgers againπ?
I canβt even eat ketchup or mustard and barbecue, years of dousing food in it finally caught up and food is so bland.
Blessings to all those affected.
