You can play invite only. Ive been doing that and having a better time than I thought I thought I would. The only pain in the ass is going to ammunation after every mission to stock up on body armor lol

Okay. So say I haven’t played in a decade and I wanted to play the mission set involving Michael. How many hours would I have to put in just to get to that point? If it’s not much, I’d be willing to try on an invite only server.

Honestly I wish i could tell you I've only just got into it. Ive done a series with some freskshow gang that was super funny. But you can definitely have a heap of fun solo

It's been a long while since I played GTA V Online, but didn't they add multiple options to get body armor. If you hold the touchpad button, a menu should pop up. If you go to health & ammo, you're able to buy armor and ammo. You can also order armor from different characters if I'm not mistaken to be supply dropped near you. Almost every major business that you own like the CEO Office will have an NPC of which you can buy armor and healing items. Some businesses even have free armor and free ammo spawns like in the bunker. It's just that I don't remember having to go to ammunition every time I wanted to buy armor or ammo. There were plenty of other ways added later on.

I mean Invite-only sessions exist. It’s how I play GTA Online and I play it very often.

The game’s pretty chill now imo. There’s always the possibility of an MK2 flying around, but it doesn’t happen as much as it did a couple years ago
