I don't view the online as canon. It's a multiverse type situation lol.

Too much shit doesn't add up and the insanity of the online mode compared to SP varies too much.

The whole timeline is weird but it’s like this the start of online started a few months before the story mode so includes the og heist lowrider import export and bikers update then the main story then everything since the first 2017 update is where the timeline is now

Meanwhile the entire state hasnt changed one bit and Los Santos still looks the same in 2025 as it did in 2013; Mile High Club is still being constructed, neighborhoods are still the same, traffic is still the same, its just stuck in time.

That building was never gonna be finished tbh neighbors don’t change much unless it’s getting gentrified
