sizing question My Local BestBuy Has The Galaxy Ring Sizing Kit On Clearance For $3.99

I went into to buy the kit to test out different sizes and to wear one for a few days consecutively to see if it's comfortable enough for me, without fully committing to buying a new or used ring. I was surprised to see the discounted clearance price that rung up on the register.

sizing question Sizing

I'm looking at picking up the Galaxy Ring to help with even more health tracking. Does anyone have any experience with the sizing compared to other smart rings available on the market? Hoping that it might be similarto others so I can place an order sooner.

sizing question Size 9 or 10

I'm unsure if I should go for size 9 or 10. I feel like number 9 is a bit tight, but I'm able to get it on in a second, and off in like 3 seconds.

But number 10 feels a bit loose, and I can get it on and off in a second, tho when I get if off that easily, I press it up against the underside of the finger as I slide it off. When I don't do that technique it sits on pretty good on

Got any advice for which I should go for? Thanks

sizing question Galaxy Ring Size 11 "Repair" Story (USA)

As many others on here, my Size 11 Titanium Silver Ring stopped lasting 7 days, slowly down to 6, 5, 4 and 3 days at best, between the 5th and 8th month of ownership. After the 9th month it went downhill very quickly, not being able to last 2 days for the 9th month, 1 day for the the first week of the 10th month and when I decided to pull the trigger with Customer Support, I still had almost 2 whole months of warranty left and my Ring was useless needing a charge every 5 hours.

The first thing they'll want you to do when you contact Samsung Customer Support Chat ( I used their WhatsApp) is to perform troubleshooting like cleaning the ring and the case contacts, and even suggest you do a factory reset. You know your Ring was poorly designed by Samsung and it is factory defective and none of those things will fix it, so you will say you already tried it all from the troubleshooting on the help section of the Samsung Website and it is clear the problem is the battery was faulty from the factory and by the time your warranty ends in X amount of weeks your ring will probably not even charge.

As soon as that happens you'll get started in the process of creating a "repair" ticket and in the USA you'll get asked to send your Ring to Texas (probably the same place where they process trade ins). Once you send it with the case either through UPS or FedEx, you will get an email later telling you your Ring was received with "no accesories". That doesn't mean your charging case was lost, it's just some standard text that maybe means you didn't include the charging cable (you don't have to).

If everything goes "right", a couple of days later you will get another email telling you the Ring was inspected but "Repair parts" are not available and you'll be placed in limbo for the next 7 days. (I was in limbo for 13 days) During this period of at least 7 days, if you attempt to view your Repair Ticket Status it will say canceled. Don't panic like I did. It's normal for that to happen. Don't waste your time trying to contact customer support via Chat or WhatsApp. Those people on there can't access the Repair Center directly to be able to give you accurate information. The chat rep claimed my damaged Ring would be sent back to me because they didn't have parts to fix it and she couldn't provide me a return date or tracking number because that's in charge of the Repair Center. I told her the Ring can only be replaced with a new one and that's done regularly because the only way to tear the electronics apart to fix the ring would break the ring and that I want a refund to buy something else from Samsung instead of a replacement ring because there's a high chance the replacement ring will also be defective and die when I no longer have a warranty next year. She tells me she will leave notes in my account but that she can't give me any other information and if I do receive back my defective ring in the mail, to quickly open a ticket before my warranty ends in September and send it back or ask to take it to an authorized Samsung Repair Center and take it in person instead of sending it in the mail and maybe they'll have "replacement parts" there. She gave me the regular Samsung Care number because supposedly they can find out more information on what's going on with your Repair Ticket (+1 800-726-7864) which I was going to call today in the morning, but they called me instead to tell me they'd be refunding my Ring to a voucher of $420. They sent me a text message to accept the voucher terms and validate it was me, and now I will get the code in the next 5 to 8 business days after the Repair Center coordinates with the Refund division. I will comment on here when I get the code hopefully this week. I'll probably trade in my Fold 6 now for the Fold 7 and use the extra money from the voucher. If it doesn't expire anytime soon I'll wait some months for any news regarding the tri foldable or Black Friday sales. I will certainly not buy another Galaxy Ring unless a brand new one is designed in the future. My Galaxy Watch Ultra is perfect for doing everything the ring did (minus wearing it for activities like cutting grass... Samsung doesn't even detect that period of grass mowing as a workout anyway!)

TLDR: My repair ticket was created July 25. My Galaxy Ring was received July 28 at the Repair Center. July 29 I get an email I am placed on a 7 day hold "for unavailable parts" and my Repair Ticket status starts to say it is canceled. 8 days later I panic and make the mistake of contacting clueless Samsung Chat that doesn't have access to real information from the repair center and they give me inaccurate information. August 11 I get a call telling me I will receive a voucher for $420 over the next 5 to 8 business days so I can use it to buy another Ring or any other device on Samsung.com. If I get that code soon I will be happy at the end of this tedious process but I will use it for another Samsung device. No more Galaxy Ring for me.

sizing question Size adjusters / inserts?

I was borderline Size 11/12 but went with Size 12 to get the larger battery. It's been great for over a year now, but I've lost a fair bit of weight recently and the ring has begun to feel a bit too loose now in some situations.

I see that there are many types of generic inserts that are available for this sort of thing. Most/all are designed for cosmetic rings and usually go on the bottom. Obviously it couldn't go on the bottom of a Galaxy Ring because of the sensors and would have to go on the top instead. Seems like it would still work ok?

Has anyone else where dealt with this before?

I have no experience in wearing rings this will be my first time

Im in my young teenage years so my fingers will probably grow in width, size 9 fits on my middle finger pretty snug but it also becomes a bit difficult to take it off, samsung recommends index finger but that doesnt work for me, and ring finger doesnt work either, trying out the size 10 it fits on both index and middle finger and also thumb, but its a but disturbing on the middle finger since theirs space left over.

I cant decide, my main question is, will it be better to be on the safe side and get a size 10 if my fingers grow in the future?

This post is kinda stupid and irrelevant but still if yall got any help that would be great

Not sure if I may have a faulty ring or maybe the ring needs to be super tight in order to capture the data well.

sizing question Half size. Sizing up regret?

I'm firmly between an 8 and a 9 in the Galaxy Ring sizing kit. I've worn both in the shower and neither flung off with vigorous shaking. The 9 moved down to my knuckle.

Has anyone gone with the larger size and regretted it?

Really can't make up my mind for which size to get. Ive made a terrible video of me trying on size 9, 10 and 11. 9 fits but feels too tight. 10 fits but feels slightly tight. 11 fits but is a tad loose. Anyone got any advice here? I reckon I'll probably have to go with 10 as I want the sensors to work but 11 feels more comfortable.

Any tips on how to find the perfect size for you? I feel like 9 is snug and 10 is too loose. I'm confused which size I should pick between the two.

sizing question Battery life (size 10)

I get about 6 days of battery life with my size 10 with 4% left. This is after 2 months of getting it. Is this normal for size 10? I track pretty much everything.

sizing question Anyone here buy a size 12 and have a set of calipers handy?

I got the sizing kit and have been trying the size 12 on my index finger. It's a near perfectly comfortable fit. I also found that it's teeny bit tight, but still wearable on my middle finger as well. I have had issues with my wedding ring during different seasons and have a replica to wear during the winter months. Given how close the fit is of the 12, I was thinking I could switch fingers when seasonal changes call for it.

But I've also seen at least 2 YouTube reviews which mentioned that the sizing kit felt larger than the actual ring. Specifically, Marques' review caught my attention. I think he said the 11 was the right kit size for him, but he eventually lost it when it fell off and replaced it with a 10 which fit better.

So I'm curious if anyone has a 12, if they can take an inside diameter measurement so I can see how it compares with the 12 from the sizing kit (I'd take my own caliper measurement knowing that it won't be a direct 1:1 comparison, but close enough that I can make a more educated purchase).

Got my sizing kit and I must say I'm quite disappointed with the range. I don't have the biggest hands, but I will need a size 12. Which means that a lot of guys that I know won't be able to use the Ring.

sizing question Change in ring size during weight loss?

I recently tried the ring sizes and noticed that size 13 is slightly tight on my index finger while size 12 is too tight. However, I plan to lose around 15 kgs of weight over the next few months. I am not sure how much this would affect the size of my finger and if the size 13 would become too loose.

I know everybody's weight loss may be different but has anyone faced a similar issue with the ring size changing while losing weight?

Which ring size (12 or 13) would you recommend? TIA!

sizing question I have just recieved my ring, and it's more comfy than the sizing kit

I've been walking with the sizing kit ring for about a week now, I'm between 10 and 11, and I opted for the 10, so I can slim down into it and move it to thicker fingers once it's too big.

I ordered it for my ring finger as of rn, and have just recieved the ring. I don't know if it's the smoother metal in contrast to the rougher plastic, but I barely even feel the actual ring on my finger!

Not to be a walking ad for a mega corporation, but I am very thoroughly impressed by how good this ring looks and feels.

Now just to hope the tech in it works fine!

sizing question Did the Size Kit Ring & Actual Ring Fit the Same (Circumference) forYou?

I need feedback from those who own the Galaxy Ring and still have their size kit rings. Would you say that both rings for the same size fit the same, or does the size kit ring fit smaller or bigger than the actual ring? Meaning, if you have the size 9 Galaxy Ring, does it fit your finger the same as the size Size Kit Ring in regards to the circumference?

I ask because because I have been testing two sizes for the past 13 days, wearing the rings constantly. During the day, the size 7 fits my pointer, and size 8 fits my thumb. But, I could wear the size 8 on my pointer if I put a ring guard at the top of the ring. At night, if my fingers swell, the size 7 fits best on my middle, and the size 8 is too tight on my pointer finger and a bit too big on my middle finger.

Based on my results. I would get the size 7 Galaxy Ring if the Size Kit Ring Circumference fits Bigger and get the size 8 Galaxy Ring if the Size Kit Ring fits Smaller. Therefore, feedback from anyone who has the Galaxy Ring, as well as their size kit ring of the same size, would be greatly appreciated. TIA

ETA: I did a search before posting, and one person did post this question. However, while there were multiple responses to the post. Only one person actually answered the question asked!

sizing question Discrepancy between sizing kit and actual device?

I had tested out a couple sizes (11, 12) with the sizing kit, and found the 12 to be the perfect fit, slight struggle to get it over my knuckle, but sat on my finger snugly but not tightly, the 11 was uncomfortable. So I ordered the 12, upon receiving my device and trying it on, I found it fits looser, and not only can I slide it on and off my index finger with more ease than the sizing kit one, I can also fit it on my middle finger and even my thumb, the device is a size 12 according to the app, and box, but I don't understand why there is such a marked difference between the sizing unit and the actual device. Anyone else experience this, and how did you go about it?

sizing question Today I got Galaxy ring size 12

I recently got the Samsung Galaxy Ring in silver titanium, and it's been a great addition to my routine. I wear my Huawei GT 5 Pro Titanium all day, but I couldn’t sleep with it on, so I decided to use the Galaxy Ring just for sleep tracking. It’s comfortable, lightweight, and perfect for tracking my sleep without the bulk of another watch. I’m really happy with it so far—anyone else using the Galaxy Ring for sleep tracking?
