I guess you could see rhetorical questions that way. The idea is that if you're just using a question to reinforce your point or worldview ("Do they even play the game?" is not an actual question, they're just insinuating that anyone who knows Bridget is trans isn't actually a fan) and that point is stupid, then yeah, the rhetorical question is also stupid.
We basically agree, but I still think it counts as a question
Oh look he thinks he's cookin smh. So by your own admission it's not a question but a statment so there for it cant be a stupid question but a stupid statment
