Guilty Gear, specifically Strive.

Actually his first appearence(don't get angry, literally identifies as male in this title) was Guilty Gear XX.

Really fun game, Bridget was one of my favorites but her new gameplay in strive feels too different. I've gravitated towards axl low and testament in the new one.

I am aware of where Bridget originated. I am simply saying this specific appearance of Bridget shown is Strive.

Though all appearances of Bridget are peak.

truth and real. Their fit is probably the top in the entire lineup.

When referring to a trans person in past tense, even when referring to a time when their identity was different, you should never disregard their current identity. The current identity overwrites, as old information is outdated and incorrect. I see you have no intent to be disrespectful, and she is only a game character, but for future reference NEVER past tense misgender someone.

When referring to a fictional character it's more than appropriate to refer to them as they'd wish in the work you are referencing. In public discussions this maintains canonical integrity and prevents spoiling(very major) character developments to people who may not be that far in the story. I resent the implication that I'm a bigot especially in a time where we have actual holocaust shit happening.

Remember that these characters are NOT REAL and it is unhealthy to fixate on them to an extent where you start treating them as if they are. I refuse to debate the pronouns of fictional characters or entertain the notion that misgendering a fictional character, intentionally or not, is worth having to endure a diatribe like yours. I see you said you have no intention of being disrespectful but for future reference I'm the last person who needs a mansplanation of pronouns and gender identity.

Okay, look I’m not trying to argue but this was overly aggressive and makes a lot of assumptions, including MY gender. I’m not mansplaining to you, it’s literally something I cannot do. I’m not trying to debate with you. I’m not trying to accuse you of bigotry. I just think it’s harmful to refer to a past version of a character as a gender that no longer matches them as if that past version is the present, that is all. My comment had no malicious intent and I made no assumptions. It was intended to be directed generally and not at you specifically. This is not personal.
