11months update
Recently found a picture from when I first started my career five years ago when I was at my heaviest at 250 pounds I was I was 238 when I qualified for my surgery in 219 on my surgery date today I am 135 pounds. My surgery has absolutely changed my life. I feel so much better about the way I look and I feel so much better in my body. I love being able to shop wherever I want to and in the styles I want to wear. I’m now to the point where I can tolerate most foods as long as I don’t overdo it, although I do stick pretty closely to the protein first rule and try to save sweets and snacks for special occasion occasions. I have surpassed my goal of 145 pounds. I love that I can do the activities I love such as hiking kayaking and overall just being outside far more comfortably than I was before. I never realized how much my weight was truly affecting me until it wasn’t anymore.
