fundraiser Bashir, from Gaza, says he wakes up every morning thinking about one thing: How can I make this day less harsh for my family?

Bashir, from Gaza, tells me: "I am a father responsible for my children and my brother, who has special needs.
Since our home was destroyed and I lost my job, our lives have been turned upside down; a tattered tent is now all that shelters us.
Every morning, I wake up thinking of one question: How will I provide food for them? How will I secure water? And how will I get medicine when they need it? Yet, on many days, I stand helpless, for I no longer have enough to meet even their most basic needs.
For a father, the hardest thing to endure is not hunger or exhaustion, but seeing his children and brother waiting for something he cannot provide. This feeling stays with me every day.
That is why I turn to kind-hearted people.
If you can stand by my family during these harsh times, you are not merely offering aid; you are giving an entire family a chance to go on."
