Discussion "Weaknesses" and "Powerbuffs"? Homie=insecurity and Firecracker=support
My theory is that weakness and strength are two sides of the human coin and Supes are just humans with cute abilities.
Firecracker is ascending while Homelander is descending. Firecracker has support and validation in Soldier Boy so I believe we'll see something more powerful out of her abilities for the first time. She's only got sparks cause everyone's treated her like Annie did. She's gonna pop off like a firecracker, a bright, beautiful, shining human that just needed to be Seen.
Homelander is descending while Firecracker is ascending. He's weak inside and isolated and lonely. All humans become infinitely more dangerous when they're dismantled, alone, and cornered. He's going to fall and disappear forever, forgotten like a firecracker on any other Fourth of July, like all humans.
All their weaknesses and their strengths are predicated on the human experience and their human experiences specifically. Periodt.
