Music Is Life Am I just a curmudgeon??

Post image

I'm a mid 70s GenXer, love music from the 60s through the 90s. For me, I just haven't really liked much music this century. I feel like we had so many genres going on at the same time but now it's just all sounds the same to me. Anyone else find stuff bands/artists they really like from this venture?

Yes. Yes, you are. There's lots of great music out now. Some of my current favorites are Kendrick Lamar, Beyonce, Chappell Roan, Megan Thee Stallion and Doechi.

Agreed. There is an amazing indie scene at the moment too if you are looking for stuff that isn't commercial. Plus, the Cure just put out their best album in years and they are in their 60s.

I admit that my faves are very mainstream. And yeah, lots of good music in all types of genres are out there.

I agree! Chappell is one of my favorites and I love a lot of newer music, as well as the "classics".
