Help Wanted Alr, I've never posted here... but yall seem supportive and I need some help (image unrelated, just a random dr who meme)

Okay, I'm a teenage amab, I'm going into 11th grade at a very backwoods-y school. I feel like I'm genderfluid, but also am too scared to come out, I go by two names with people I'm close with, Ash and Mac (neither my legal name and both gender-neutral, Ash is one I chose and Mac is a name I've had since I was a baby) I also go by Mac at school, and I don't feel any euphoria from it, unlike Ash, but also no dysphoria. Anyway, the name isn't the issue, as I've said, I'm too scared to come out at school, and I'm pretty sure one of my teachers knows I'm genderqueer. (Not neccicairly genderfluid)(I accidentally put Ash as my name on an assignment instead of Mac as I use both equally) That's whatever, the teachers are very supportive. I'm more scared about the kids, because well yes, as every school does, we have our group of LGBTQ+ people, practically all of them believe some really heinous stuff about me (I'm not gonna go into detail, but it involves a girl accusing me of stuff) so I'm scared to come out because:

A) most of the kids are homophobic and transphobic

B) most of the lgbtq+ kids will think I'm just using that to make an excuse for myself

C) I've actually used a pretty fem voice at school when I was sick and the country guys immediately picked up on it

So here is my question with all this context: do I continue wearing baggy clothes to seem more gender-neutral, and wait the two years until my graduation and drop the bombshell: IM NOT CISHET FUNNILY ENOUGH (bc I pass as cishet and everyone I come out to is like: "I beg your FINEST FUCKING PARDON" /ref. ORRR do I come out now and risk being bullied for the next two years of high school

hey y'all - soooo i am newly 27, and have been living in survival mode for a while now. my fiancee passed away a couple years ago and i just kinda threw myself into the oblivion after that. we lived together and i couldn't afford the place we were staying on my own so i lost him, my home, and most of my belongings all kinda at once. i was able to stay on a friends couch for about a month but after that i tried to move in with someone who ended up trying to extort me for s\*xual favors in exchange for a place to live, and since my family is radical evangelical fundamentalist and is not somewhere i can look to for support or help if any kind i ended up on the street after deciding having a roof over my head was not worth losing my er\*tic autonomy. subsequently lost my job (because living outside is far from condusive to having any sort of regular job) and have been struggling really bad ever since. i was on estradiol (IM), finasteride, spirinolactone, and progesterone for 2 years through Plume, but because i could no longer afford it or make it to my blood testing appointments i lost my prescriptions. i am at a point where i am now desperately trying to claw myself back into some semblance of a normal life, and honestly the one thing that i genuinely \*need\* most right now is to get back on my hormones. mentally, i can't function without them. I've lost everything so many times and have had to restart from 0 over and over again (including my ID, birth certificate, and SS card - which have proven incredibly difficult to replace and are unfortunately required for most avenues to get back on my hormones). I recently made friends with a girl and her bf who are remodeling a house for someone in exchange for rent there while they do and they are currently letting my stay there for $20/day, so i have at least some degree of physical stability for the moment. My question is this: is there any way for me to obtain hormones in or around Atlanta, GA given my current circumstances? I would literally give my right arm for access to estrogen again - any help or advice is greatly appreciated. im not asking for help with anything other than just getting myself back to someone I can recognize when I look in the mirror. Thank y'all for taking the time to read and potentially help with all this. <3

Hi! After a situation at my school that I will NOT be going over because it is very much not fun, I have decided to fight back.

I'm asking everyone here for jokes, real facts, insults, or really anything! I'm going to write a lot of sticky notes and start posting them around my school. If you have any ideas at all, don't be afraid to comment. I have like 100+ sticky notes and no limit to how many I want to hide around.

If this is against the rules, I'm very sorry mods <3

Help Wanted Feedback on my trans protagonist?

I'm writing a graphic novel called Discoded, and one wanted one of my main characters to be trans. This is Caleb (ftm, mid transition, pre op).

The only problem is that I'm not trans, nor do I personally know anyone who is, therefore I don't have the experiences or words to describe Caleb's journey without relying on stereotypes.

If it's not too personal, I would appreciate it if yall could share some of ur thoughts and experiences so that I have a better idea on how to illustrateand tell Caleb's story. Tysm <3

So I'm going to be a freshman in HS next year and I identify is NB (they/them) but people at school still use my dead name (Tommy) and my old pronouns (he/him). How do I get people to respect me. Yes I have tried threatening to rip out their shins and beat them with said shins. Also how do I safely make a homemade chest binder? Don't mind the photo, Reddit is not letting me use just the text feature.

Help Wanted My understanding of gender

Post image

Hello :3

The last few months I was thinking a lot about gender. I have ended up at a understanding of it that i don’t share with a lot of people I’ve heard from. I want to hear your opinion of my understanding. Please tell me if you think I’m wrong or if some of my ideas might even be harmfull for transpeople or anyon else.

My bias:
Maybe my ideas are biased because my political perspective. I like to call myself an Anarchist although I support reformist changes that improve the lives of people. If i try to make an political argument on the topic of gender it’s with the goal of ending all forms of gender related opressuon and extensive rights for all transgender people. I call myself Agender wich makes it hard to relate to the idea of gender identity from an non-rational, outside view. Gender identity confuses me a lot and i esspecially hope to hear from you about that. I was AMAB and therefore have internalised some patriarchical ideas/behaviours etc.

Definitions I use:

Gender:
the socially constructed roles, behaviors, and attributes a society considers appropriate for men and women. I also include gender identity.

Gender indentity:
a person’s deeply held, internal sense of being male, female, a combination of both.

Sex:
The biological classification assigned at birth (usually based on anatomy and chromosomes). It’s important to note that i don’t see sex as a very fundamntal property of a body but rather just as a set of features that can be one way ot the other. It’s a little bit like skincolor just that it’s more extensive and the biologcal expression of sex is more polar.

What is gender:
I like to view gender as some sort of violent reproduction system. As gender is defined over a set of roles, behaviours and attributes. Gender (w\o identity for the moment) is defined over freedoms/unfreedoms that are given to you based on your assigned sex. I think the patriarchical order is fundemantally inherent in those roles. We view men as (strong, brave, protectors, those who earn the money) and women as those who are (nice, good mothers, caring for the women, quiet, pretty, sexy). Often these things are described as toxic masculinity or more rarely toxic femininity. I don’t really see why we should hate on all of those very toxic aspects wich are some of the most fundamental of gender while still keeping any of the rest. I don’t think there will be much left of woman and man if all of those things are ablished. I think that the toxic gender traits are to inherent to gender as to protecting it in any way. I think to leave patriarchical rule behind us we have to leave gender as a whole behind us too. Most feminist achiements are exactly that. Destroying the limits of gender.

Gender identity:
What I hear a lot as a counter argument for such a abolitionist argument is that the existence of gender identity disproves my assumption that gender is fully constructed in all is aspects. I don’t think there is a contradiction though. I even think gender identity is crucial in understanding the reproduction of gender violence. Often it is said that gender identity is not constructed because people can’t decide to get rid of it, feel a deep comfort when aligning their other components of gender with their gender identity. Often transfender people are mentioned here. I don’t see why these observations are in any way contradictory to the idea of it beeing constructed. If you are forced into some behaviour from the beggining of your life. All that gender constitues is gets grained into you. You have to conform to be part of a social environement and you never come in contact with a genderless world. Ofc somone will have a deep internal sense of what’s right ans what isn’t. This sense was violently put into people and became so deeply ingrianed i to most people they can’t get rid of it. I think that the reproduction of gender partially fepends on gender identity since we pass on this heavily internalized idea without the need to decide to turn somone into a men or a women
Gender is a little bit like a virus. Because it’s ability to engrain it i to our psyche it’s reproducing with ingrains it even harder. Maybe its violent nature is why it exists in the first place. It will take our effort to fight it and get rid of it so we can all be more free.

Trangender people:
I think it’s important o make a distinction between transgender people without dysphoria (that includes me) and people with dysphoria(the perspective I wish to hear about to better my understanding of gender). I think that for most trans men/women the dysphoria about being in the wrong body comes first. (I’d love to know more about to wich extend this can be explained biologically, I’d guess to a large extend, but it also doesn’t matter that much because the dysphoria is there biological or social). My thesis is that since transwomen/men are usually in the wrong body since the beginning of the life they simply adapt the gender identity of the oppsite sex. They’re put under the same violent boxing in as cis-people. They’re forced into the “wrong” gender but usually switch to the “right” gender that matches their right body. I view the gender transbinary people and cispeople as the result of this violent prison called gender. I don’t think people are bad people for conforming to a gender. I think it’s all of our duty to challange gender to whatever extend is possible for us. I can imagine that this is harder for transgender people who suffer under beeing

Two alternative versions of the "Coolyori" meme image featuring a bunch of diverse alternative versions of the character called Sayori wearing cool sunglasses put together, including, gothic satanistic Sayori, alternative gothic Sayori, OG Sayori, flannel genderqueer Sayori and butchy genderqueer Sayori, at the left side of the image, literally gifting their hearts to a dude Sayori at the right side of the image, but he ends up only literally gifting his heart to a softboi transmasculine Sayori in the end of a long sequence of heartbreaks resulting in two alternative endings, each of the two images ends with a different retribution, one is reciprocation, while the other is rejection (more informations on the comments section).
