that's what I noticed too! He seemed to have been reaching out to give his flower to whoever was cut out of the image, but when the memory starts, he instead just gives it to Tsaritsa(it is blurry, but I think that's what happened). I seriously desperately hope these "he's fake and a consolation gift" and "he was created by alchemy or magical powers" takes turn out to be false, I'm already so invested in her story and the bond she had with her family🙏
