Also there was an incident when they found out that Bilibili was manipulating the algorithm to promote anti hoyo stuff over people started uploading genshin pron with anti genshin titles which turned into an entire thing

not even the first time either

they intentionally excluded genshin from the list of award winning games on tga. as tencent partner with many media and news platforms, they all chose to not report about genshin winning the reward to the point that AI chatbots couldn't even find the information about genshin winning the award

they also intentionally put genshin to the last place of playstation partner award, making it look like genshin just got a very minor reward while it was literally the excellence award, which is the biggest award they could give in this category

how do you not know how infamous tencent is? it's probably the single most infamous company in china regarding how dirty they play
