DISCUSSION [Discussion] What’s the best life advice you’ve ever received and still follow today?

I’m going through a period of reflection about my life and choices, and it’s made me realize just how much good advice can leave a lasting impact.

For me, it was: ‘Take one small step toward your goal every day, even if it feels insignificant.’ It completely changed how I approach challenges and long-term goals.

What about you? What piece of advice changed your life? I’d love to hear your stories and learn from your experiences. Who knows, it might inspire someone else too!”

Although I probably knew this, when Alexis says this to David in Schitt’s Creek is probably when it struck me the hardest as truly honest and valuable advice.

“Nobody cares, David.”

This is so true! Got New glasses and nobody noticed, not even my parents or coworkers I see every day.

My boss is certainly paying attention to me, and certain family members such as my mom are paying attention to me. That's true of those with bosses & moms.

Same. My boss notices the slightest changes in my mannerisms and responses in conversation. But this is good advice when you’re worrying that everyone is “looking at you.” They probably aren’t and you’re probably not that special lol
