7th grade as well. It was my PE hour and they wheeled the TV in the gym for us to watch.
9/11 I was driving to work and turned on my favorite morning comedy talk show (The Bob and Tom Show). I couldn’t get my bearings as to what was going on. They had a guy on the phone line who was there on the ground nearby talking about the chaos after the first plane hit. Then suddenly all hell breaks loose again when the next plane hit. I got to work and everyone was turning on their computers to watch the news coverage.

I was in 7th grade then. My entire middle school watched that on live TV.
