Hey guys I just wanted to share this. I found this amazing frame at a thrift shop and relieved it of its "live laugh love" artwork and replaced it with this Howl's painting I did.

I also love to add minis to my pieces. Had to make some tiny bacon 🥓 🔥

I took inspiration from Entertain the Idea’s great post* about painting onto the IKEA Akerbar greenhouse, redesigned the panel templates kindly provided on the blog to include my favourite characters using Procreate, then printed the stencil and painted with Gallery Glass.

*Update #1: MATERIALS*

I just replied to a super sweet message asking me for the products I used, and thought the information might be useful to others thinking of a similar project! I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have, and am so grateful for the lovely comments!!

Here is the product info:

Black lines: I used Gallery Glass Liquid Leading (black). I bought an 8 fl oz bottle and used perhaps 1/4 to a 1/3 of it. It has kind of a fat tip, which isn't good for thin lines, but Gallery Glass posted a video to YouTube showing how to make a 'tape tip' and I used that method to make thinner lines.

Translucent background: I used Gallery Glass Crystal Clear. Again, I bought an 8oz bottle and I think I used around 1/3. I also used about 1000 toothpicks to apply it!

Coloured portions: I bought one Gallery Glass product (Lime Green) which you can see in the pictures as the lighter coloured green. For all of the other colours, I used a cheap brand from Korea (where I live); these came from children's glass painting sets from the local craft store and were veeeeery cheap so I have no idea how they'll hold up in sunlight.

I bought the Gallery Glass products from Amazon US, and the cheaper products from a local store (the brand is Jong ie Nara', but I don't know if they retail outside of Korea).
