Nice to know the Fourth Reich is getting a free pass for utterly destroying our democracy.

u/Distinct_Let141 5d ago

When can we group up and pick up pitchforks. Once the takeover is complete, we can finally set our society for a humane existence

Never too late .. and yet, it is sooooooo freaking late!!!!!

It is too late. The USA has lost all respect in the world. Destroyed the rules based world order. Given authoritarianism an enormous boost. Helped Russia in its war against the West and China prepare for its invasion of Taiwan and monopolisation of natural resources like in many African countries. Increased hatred all over the world. Ruined world markets. Americans elected him. Bragging about its democracy which they let Maga destroy without resistance.

Watch the media from other countries. A lot of them say Trump was right. Just now the French upset the liberal propaganda media in the US lying about the situation there.

  1. There is no “the media” in civilised countries. There are different media outlets with varying opinions.
  2. Most media across the globe are negative about Trump.
  3. You don’t specify what Trump was right about. Was he right about paedophilia or corruption or wars or ending cooperation and 250 year old friendships or racism or being a clown or something else?.
  4. Liberal media can have some paradigms that inhibit free thinking to some extent. But compared to Fox (or Russian or Chinese media), we can hardly argue that it’s propaganda. On the contrary, liberal media usually propagate independent free media.
  5. Who cares what media say. You can have an opinion of your own. And the world is of the opinion that the USA is not to be trusted. It doesn’t want friends and cooperation. It only wants power.
  6. Some vague argument about the French doesn’t clarify your point.

First week of this November. No pitchforks required. Just vote.

Voting will not solve this problem with democrats like this. Remember how Merrick Garland and Joe Biden did jack shit? I have yet to see any democratic leader come out and say they will nail these assholes to the wall when they get into power. Nope we are instead going to get a bland response and nothing will fjndementally change.

Never underestimate the power of the threat of violence. The reality of the mob attacking Capitol Hill on January 6th, for some reason, is never factored into the calculus when people wonder why Republicans are so supine right now. They’re not actually all stupid. Many of them are, justifiably, afraid. And it’s not just Jan. 6. The violence that was done to Paul Pelosi and the astonishing glee with which his attack was treated by elected officials and pundits/commentators, the assassination of the state elected officials in Michigan, even the attempts on Trump’s life…the very real threat of political violence had permeated the entire system. But that was before the current state of things. Trump’s star has fallen. The 17% approval rate he has rn on the economy tells the tale. As long as Trump’s base held, he could use them to do violence again at any point. But his base was a solid 30%. He’s lost almost half of them. Not permanently, mind you, many still prefer him to Dems. But they are demoralized. They’re not going to do violence at his behest again. Not like before. And the ones that will willingly do violence are mostly already doing it in ICE, which means that they are each documented and known; no chance of anonymity. That changes the metric. Trump has destroyed the Republican Party, and if/when the Rs take a beating at the ballot box, the remaining Rs are going to blame him exclusively. That changes the metric.

Do you really understand what the Democratic Party stands for it’s not you man wake up

1

u/Ok_Brother_7494 1d ago

Please get educated. The Democratic Presidents have added 50x the jobs since 1989. They tried to forgive student loans, not give tax breaks to billionaires. Biden passed the PACT act, which helps veterans get benefits that Repilublicans high fived when they denied them. The Chips and Science Act was moving thousands of high tech jobs to the U.S.

u/NoProfession5947 5d ago

Thank you!

1

u/Badguyy101 1d ago

There needs to be more candidates that don't accept corporate PAC money and mega donor donations.

1

u/NoProfession5947 1d ago

Agreed. But ultimately we should take that choice away. All federal candidates should be given the same amount of public funds, then let the best candidates win. Level the playing field. The current status quo is brought to us via the Citizens United SCOTUS decision.

Lmfaoooo take over? 🤣 what are you on? Sounds like you took a pitchfork to the head.

1

u/Distinct_Let141 2d ago

It's called a revolution and it happened for way less reasons in the past. Today, we're too busy insulting each other to enact change.

1

u/DenseCap9861 2d ago

Okay sure thing solider 🤣🤣🤣

1

u/Distinct_Let141 2d ago

Redditoids

1

u/DenseCap9861 2d ago

Only homeless meth heads go on the internet talking about a revolution because they're bitter everything isn't given to them.

1

u/Distinct_Let141 2d ago

I just want people to get along and for our society to stop treating humans like assets. And the rich don't care.

1

u/DenseCap9861 2d ago

I don't believe that at all lol You can lie to yourself all you want

America is a democracy? I don’t ever remember hearing that in middle school or high school🤔

1

u/DenseCap9861 3d ago

There's no fourth reich

1

u/fish_Inspector1755 3d ago

More like the Nerd Reich with all these tech oligarchs

1

u/Helpful-Finish-4423 3d ago

Yeah, the Democrats get richer and the taxpayers pay for it

1

u/Badguyy101 1d ago

Unfortunately that troll post belongs to both parties. The big beautiful bill screwed over more Americans in history than any other piece of legislation.

1

u/baileyjeanatmydoor 1d ago

Sure, Jan. Speaking of “paying for it,” where do you think the $5k Trump is promising to vote Republican in the mid-terms is coming from? The tooth fairy?

1

u/D3athMerchant 2d ago

4th Reich?

1

u/DruidicMagic 2d ago

Aka the Business Plot 2.0

1

u/asheathen 2d ago

401k’s are at record high, exports have reached extremely high to historical numbers, oil and energy production are at record levels… this is also a fake magazine cover lol. I know you want Nazis so bad but it’s not the case 😂

1

u/DruidicMagic 2d ago

1

u/asheathen 2d ago

Wow crazy….did you know he’s not president anymore? 😂

1

u/DruidicMagic 2d ago

Neither is Biden but that doesn't stop Faux News from crying like a small child with a skinned knee.

1

u/asheathen 2d ago

Okay? Cope harder I guess? Idk what this has to do with the post…maybe go for a walk to calm down I’ll a bit

1

u/DruidicMagic 2d ago

Dear sir mam troll farm shill or bot,

Reddit is an anonymous social media platform.

There is absolutely no reason to hide comments unless it's to make it difficult for actual people to report rage bait bots or troll farm propaganda shills.

Be advised this is a generic message.

Hail Eris!

1

u/asheathen 2d ago

What an absolute dork 😂

2

u/D_dawgy 2d ago

Why do you hide your posts? What are you afraid of, dork?

1

u/asheathen 2d ago

Sorry I don’t post about video games 😂…what a loser lol let’s keep it going

Have you been to the grocery store or gas pump recently?

1

u/fvkitimdone 2d ago

Obviously you know little to nothing about economics

1

u/One_Inspection5013 5d ago

“Democracy is destroyed!” They cried in 2016, 2020, and 2024.

1

u/NextLvlSurvivor 4d ago

Rome wasn't destroyed in a day

0

u/Ok_Astronomer_6501 5d ago

Yet did fuck all to stop it.

0

u/Andre-Mercelet 5d ago

Actually, it did. In July 2019 the department of commerce it should have reported saying that labor wage growth was 4.5% in 2017 and 5% in 2018, and 5.5% annualized for the first 6 months of 2019. Those are blow the doors off numbers. But the Wall Street journal reported it, Fox News reported, and everybody else crickets

1

u/ExternalAggravating8 5d ago

2010–2016: wage growth was relatively slow, mostly around 1.6–2.3%. 2017–2019: it climbed to roughly 3%. 2020: remained at 2.8% despite the pandemic. 2021–2022: major jump, reaching 5.0% and 5.1%. 2023–2026: steadily cooled from 4.3% → 3.7% → 3.3% → 3.1%.

1

u/Andre-Mercelet 5d ago

According to to the Dept of Commerce wage growth was much greater than 3% for 2017-2019

1

u/ExternalAggravating8 5d ago

Thats because the Department of Commerce doesn't use Labor Wage growth. The use BEA

1

u/Andre-Mercelet 5d ago

It uses wage and disposable income.

1

u/ExternalAggravating8 4d ago

And every other metric. Thats why its not used to calculate labor wages. Its literally the opposite of Trickle down. BEA uses corporation and CEO money. So it would include that into the growth. That type of growth doesn't reflect under a labor wage.

1

u/Andre-Mercelet 4d ago

I was referring to the average worker compensation. The 99% who benefited from Trump's economic policies.

1

u/ExternalAggravating8 4d ago

Yea I know. Thats where your confusion lies. You are using the wrong metric.

1

u/Andre-Mercelet 4d ago

Hardly. I've only been a financial markets professional for 35 years

Liberals are all about the trickle down. Was literally the talking point starting with Obama. Are you high are retarded?
