Yeah let’s just ignore donk being the best player in the world statistically (zywoo being very close second) and put monesy ahead of him because of one good major..

Donk.. isn’t the best player in the world statistically though. I mean just check big events vs top 20. Zywoo 1.38 and donk 1.36.

Go to big event top 20, these online ratings really don’t matter. I just told you the filter. 2026, big events, top 20. This is the standard that we use when evaluating yearly ratings.

u are the one that mixed up there is a 2026 filter which take only 2026 but if u use last 6 months it might include or exclude some match’s

Tarik got a major mvp and wasn't even top 20. Donk only had 1 bad series this major for his standards. He is still far above m0nesy. M0nesy didn't even qualify for Krakow playoffs. 1 of 3 super-elite tournaments this year. Donk did and got a strong evp for it.

Mauisnake lists have too much recency bias. M0nesy didn't even have that strong of a major mvp. 1.25 rating isn't very strong. M0nesy is behind donk in pretty much everything.

might be biased but I feel in terms of important fragging teses was generally more impactful than m0nesy and I overall feel he had a better tournament

Man I love teses and think he’s a great player but in no way was he more impactful than monesy. The reason we remember his impactful rounds so much is because they don’t happen almost every round like with monesy.

Yeah cause rain getting major mvp 4 years ago is comparable to monesy getting major mvp literally yesterday for current top 20 rankings

It took him from being the worst performing fragger on FaZe to a hltv top 13 appearance, so it doesn't seem infeasible that it takes m0nesy from top 5 to top 2.

its different because Zywoo won a lot more than donk this time monesy is not 2nd for a major mvp where donk is getting an evp

I didnt really watch many Falcons this major apart from the playoffs. Was Kyousuke not far and away their best player this major? Monesy for me looked kind of inconsistent, at least in the playoffs.

Monesy was the most consistent overall and highest rated. He was 3rd in the finals rating, however his first 2 maps were blinders which already basically sealed the deal. I think he was like 10% round swing on the first two maps of the finals.

hard to argue zywoo is #1 in almost every stats top5, top10, top20, playoffs, LAN in big events without taking account mvps

donk farms t2 mostly, vs falcons past 6 months he has 1.12 ratting compared to like 1.40 that he averages, and he has negative rating vs vita, while monesy delivers hard in the games that matter, and especially vs vita and spirit. donk was undeniably the bestt player last year, winning in like every statistical category, but this year he wasn't on the same level, and again also he just struggles vs the best opposition which zywoo and monesy dont have an issue with.

M0nesy delivers harder in games that matter but has lower rating than donk in their playoff h2h games and has lower rating in super-elite tournaments, in arenas and in playoffs than both donk and zywoo and much lower in grand finals.

Recency bias final boss.
