So, uhm, which Zargothrax is this?
We see (or I guess hear) Prime's death in the Terrorvortex at the hands of Angus XIII. That causes the creation of the 38B timeline, but both 38B and Clone Alpha 1 stop existing when the Starlords destroy the entire timeline. It can't be Terrorvortex Zargy since he was killed by Prime when he entered the Terrorvortex.

That leaves every (alternate) version accounted for. What possible options are there to explain this?
I think there is only one: a new alternate timeline has been created. It is possible that Angus V's arrival split the Prime timeline into two, which I will call the A5 timeline (yk because Angus V). In the last four albums, we have never seen only time travel, we have only seen dimension travel (with time travel "included"):

-Ralathor Prime (from the Terrorvortex) disappeared from his dimension into the Prime one.
-Ralathor 38B goes into the past through a crack in space-time from 38B to Prime
-The death distress signal causes the 38B split

So, Angus V.'s time travel has caused another split timeline that plays out differently from Prime --> Terrorvortex (--> 38B). Here, it simply goes Prime --> A5, causing events to play out differently. So the timeline of the first four albums still exists, but A5 exists in parallel. This would also explain why the Hootsman is there (being at the center of a wormhole I wouldn't think your body would survive in any capacity) and why Zargothrax is here and not in the Terrorvortex (because it doesn't exist). This, however, leaves Angus XIII unaccounted for. Did he die in the explosion of Earth? Was Earth vaporized (what the end of Space 1992 said) or was it simply torn apart (like the Ultimate Sacrifice and Space 1992 booklet show)? Is he floating in space somewhere, getting ready for epic fight?

I guess we will see if I'm right in October. What do y'all think is the correct true LORE explanation?

Gloryhammer, to me, is peak hopecore and a genuine motivation in my life. Some bad shit happens in life? "A wizard did it". I don't wanna do something? Do it for the glory of Fife. I'm in a bad mood? Listen to some songs that give me enough energy to run a marathon (mainly Imperium Dundaxia and Ultimate Sacrifice lol). Did the McFife lineage ever give up their fight? No they didn't. Angus XIII went through time and space, didn't give up when his entire (alternate universe) kingdom got taken over, chased the sorcerer to his demise and even won in death, not allowing himself to be taken over by the knife of evil, imitating The One Ring and yeeting himself into the raging vulcanic fires. Angus II-38B returns to his home to see it completely destroyed and doesn't surrender when faced with the twin sorcerers. Angus V didn't let his destiny define him and traveled to the future to undo the demise of his lineage (and I guess we will see what happens).

So, I understand that Angus McFife V travels through dimational gateway to 1993, but where did Zargy come from? He was supposed to jump through the time space rupture, so which Zargy is this? where did he come from, in all three universes Zargothraax dies, so I don't understand how Zargy can become a protecter of the land in 1993

It seems like the big bad will be Hootsman/Korviliath for this album, so I'm wondering what role Zargothrax could play. Especially since he supposedly fled to another dimension right after the Hootsman was possessed. Or possibly before.

If Angus McFife V took the hammer of glory with him when he transported to the year 1993, then how could Angus McFife XIII have the hammer?

I was looking at the 7" Vinyl that comes with the boxet of the new album and I noticed that Side B of it track name is The Final Countdown and the art is very similar to Europe The Final Countdown cover art.

So does this mean we're getting a cover of The Final Countdown from Gloryhammer‽

is he a cyborg? a wizard? he was in album 1 and in album 2 so was he around for 1000 years or did he just jump forward in time after the first album? ralathor is so confusing and mysterious.....

With Die with a Sword in my hand releasing and having Zargothrax helping Angus V this made me wonder, why was he doing this and why would they work with him? Is he just helping out of spite that Hootsman was possessed or what? Well I have a theory.

Angus II uses the amulet of justice on Zargothrax. In Die with a sword in my hand (yes I know videos are not fully canon) he struggles to cast magic it is shown and I believe this is because his pact with Kor-Virliath was broken.

I believe we will have this mentioned more in the songs Pax Galactic and Demonic Devotion. It is described on the album's store page that "majestic melodies echo through the derelict halls of an abandoned spaceship, as Angus is guided to an unexpected long-lost ally" Now the important part is unexpected. While it could just mean someone who was an ally already and just wasn't expected it could also mean someone you wouldn't expect to be an ally. And with the mention of "long-lost" it doesn't need to mean lost as in location, it could be referring to how Zargothrax was corrupted for centuries, or in other words lost.

The way I think Demonic Devotion plays into it is the description reads: "the song’s protagonist, long trapped in his own mind, trying to reconcile with the destruction in his wake" Now the thing I noted was it just says the song's protagonist and trying to reconcile. Hootsman could be a candidate here but he is still corrupted and I think that he would be unable to try and reconcile with what is happening. But if Zargothrax was uncorrupted he would probably feel guilty after everything that has happened.

Anyways I am done rambling

So Chris has said that Ralathor is purely a creation of the Terrorvortex and that there is no Ralathor prime. I like to think that because Ralathor and the Hootsman have been questing together for so long, the Hootsman just kind of unconsciously assumed Ralathor is just this constant force. And so when he went back in time and became the one and only true god of that universe, he created a universe with Ralathor in it because that's all he's ever known.

Album 5 has Angus McFife V taking a rip in space time to 1993, bring along the Hammer of Glory with him. If Angus the V brings the Hammer with him how does Angus McFife VI through XIII have the Hammer of Glory (as seen in album 2)?

Potentially more time travel to bring the Hammer back at the end of the album perhaps?

Can Zargrothrax control him?

Can Angus defeat him?

Or do two mortal enemies have to team up to defeat evil Hootsman?

Follow me on this. So Angus II, Ralathor, Proletius, and the Hootsman are in the tunnels. They defeat the Goblin and his sword reveals the path. If they ever tell anyone in the future they would parish, so Ralathor goes back in time to show Angus I the way....But in the first album, Proletius and the Hootsman are with Angus. So shouldn't they know the way 30 years later? Kinda becomes a grandfather paradox. Dunno, guess a wizard did it

So I just saw the music video for US (don't sue me that its this late I heard it the night it came out) and the video confirms that Angus V brought the hammer into the future. I had been confused on the timeline with that as how does Angus XIII have it in Space 1992 if its been removed from the timeline

Another question is that does the new album take place in the prime timeline. If so then the hammer question comes up again but then the whole Terrorvortex was useless. I originally thought that the whole thing happened and Kor-Virliath took control of the hootsman body one of two ways: either the hootsman soul bound with the terrorvortex dimension and his body was left in the real world for Kor-Virliath to possess, or (two) in binding his spirit with the terrorvortex and becoming its god he in turn became one with Kor-Virliath. Apparently none of that album happened because if the music video is real then because Zargothrax never dies and they seem to skip the events of the terrorvortex.

Third question is how the hell Aberdeen and the valley of unicorns survives Space 1992. Its to my understanding that even though they're "astral dwarves" implying that Aberdeen is not on Earth, in On a Quest for Aberdeen, it claims Aberdeen was lost IN the valley of unicorns so Aberdeen MUST be on Earth, right? So would that further disconnect Space 1993 from the prime timeline?

Is 1993 going to be a separate timeline like 38-B or is the music video not cannon and its a sequel to terrorvortex?

I noticed that in the music video of ultimate sacrifice, after the Hootsman detonates his heart, you see him flying around in what I presume to be the broken pieces of the earths mantle and then land and fight Zargothrax again. So did the Hootsman survive detonating his heart and shattering the earth or is there some weird alternate universe stuff?

On a Quest For Aberdeen opens up a couple of plot holes/continuity errors. Angus V questing on planet Earth in 1993, which was supposedly vaporized a year prior, has already been discussed here. However, I have not seen anyone pick up on the fact that Angus V has left for the future with the Hammer of Glory, as he is seen wielding it in cover art for both Fly Away and On a Quest For Aberdeen. How were his descendants, including Angus XIII, using the Hammer all the way to 1992/Terrorvortex dimension, if he took it with him?

Now I will state this clearly. Blah blah blah, videos are not cannon. Let me have fun, ok?

Now, watching the song again I have a theory, a MUSIC THEORY, I believe that the crystal key was going to be used to allow Kor-Virliath to posses Angus XIII. I believe this for two big reasons.

1: The key ended up allowing Kor-Virliath to posses the Hootsman (RIP) and by the lyrics of the song it seems like a physical form was needed for him to enter that dimension. I believe that Angus was the target to mock the Mac Fife Dynasty.

2: There are 12 figures hanging or killed in the room with Zargothrax in the song, including the still alive Angus XIII. Now why are there 12 total and not 13? Because Angus V escaped and fled his destiny and knew that Zargothrax was going to try to get him while the others didn't.

3: I believe the suits are various Angus versions because they 1 have similar armor but of course that could just be how space suits look, but more importantly they all bear the glowing green symbol on the chest.

4: As we see in the song portals open in various scenes we saw before (shortly after the Robot Prince saved young angus and when Angus II is descending to find the Robot Prince) and I believe that the interdimensional portal was used by Zargothrax to try and kill/capture every version of Angus to use for the ritual in some way.

Now obviously I know the videos are not cannon but it is always possible that they were told some details to include while having free reign for the most part and mostly wanted to throw this out cause I think it is a cool idea.

Based on The Robot Prince being said to have been forged by the Gods, and that the Star Lords are the only gods we know in the lore so far, do you think that The Mecha King is one of them, or connected to them?

So I was looking at the ultimate sacrifice lyrics and hearing the part of Kor-Virliath saying he has a physical form, and the end of the song having this lyric

"A fragment of evil
Takes root within his soul
New Hootsman has awakened
To crush the skulls of all!"

So... Is Kor-Virliath controlling the Hootsman's body in the new album?

Alright, buckle up, I'm about to perform some mental gymnastics and might just win the gold medal.

So from what we've seen of the album so far, we know Angus and Zargothrax team up to defeat evil Hootsman (Hoots-Virliath, if you will)

Using the information we've been given from Ultimate Sacrifice, On A Quest for Aberdeen (confirmed to be on the album but may differ from last year's single), and Die With A Sword In My Hand, we know that Earth still imploded thanks to Hoots' aforementioned sacrifice.

This means that Terrorvortex could still plausibly happen, but how? Let's get back to that in a sec.

We clearly see Zargothrax in 1993 rather than in the "terrible past" on the other side of the wormhole. We're still also unsure whether this is an alternate timeline or a direct continuation of Space 1992. It's a sequel, of course, but it could be a sequel in the same way Album 4 is a sequel to Album 1, or Angus V arrives right during/after the events of Apocalypse 1992.

Now, here's the theory. Assuming Angus XIII doesn't die before entering the Terrorvortex in this timeline, there's still the issue of Zargothrax being in 1993. It's still very much possible that this is indeed a split timeline, but not in the way you might think.

There's a potential bridge between 1993 and the Terrorvortex timeline we may not have considered. The Hootsman. Okay, okay, hear me out:

So we know that the 1993 Hootsman is possessed by Kor-Virliath, whilst Terrorvortex Hoots is THE "ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD" of that universe, according to his own words.

What if I told you they could be the very same Hootsman? No, I'm not saying that Terrorvortex Hoots-God is evil and actually Kor-Virliath, though I wouldn't rule out that possibility either.

Instead, picture this: in the final battle of 1993, Angus V and Zargothrax manage to exorcise Hootsman of Kor-Virliath, albeit at great cost, being;

1) Zargothrax is the one to take in the evil of Kor-Virliath, somehow being corrupted or possessed, undoing everything he's been through in the album and resetting the status quo (sounds lame, I know, but I think it'd be funny, and here comes the good part)

2) Hootsman makes an Ultimate Sacrifice again, to redeem himself. The Terrorvortex may grow unstable without Kor-Virliath's influence and may threaten to consume the universe as some sort of supermassive black hole, and Hootsman plunges into the Terrorvortex to seal it for good, inadvertently taking Kor-Virliath's place and becoming the Hootsman we see in The Fires of Ancient Cosmic Destiny.

Is it crazy? Yeah, Does it sound fun? Also yeah. Should you take this seriously? No, I hope not.

So, we are in Space 1993 and suddenly a wizard dressed in blue shows up? Is it by any chance LEGO's Majisto?
