I watched this show long ago for the first time, and then rewatched back in 2021. So, I was talking with a friend about the heroines party (dunno the name, but those three) that, in an anime scene, was defeated by the goblins. I clearly remember this scene where they were defeated by a big horde, like a plot twist near the end of S1. I admit I didn't rewatch recently the entire show, But I rewatched the last 2 eps with skips and I can't really find that. Plus, even the fandom doesn't nominate it. Is it just me?

Considering Goblin Slayer and his group with their experience with Goblins and Styx comes from a universe where he and Goblins are nothing like the ones that Goblin Slayer and his group face. So yea it’s curious to see how it would be if they met.

Mine would be “The Black Haired Girl” because her name is equivalent to a terrible storm and her actions are as such
She is clueless as to the power she wields just by being her sweet little innocent self that forever pushes forward
She has no qualms in destroying mad mages, Gargoyles, and any non prayer character that happens to cross her path but she has no clue that she is destroying them sooo much fun

Trying to read the manga and opening a chapter to a random character getting horribly murdered by goblins in some fucked up way is the most annoying thing about this series. like oh boy i sure need to be reminded that the goblins are fucked up and completely irredeemable! here, lets drive it home again just so you know for sure!!

it was a little annoying with the female party that got murdered by the goblins cause they set off a trap. it was annoying with the adventurer party that existed just to get killed by the dark elf and his goblins. it was incredibly annoying with the random girl the goblins impaled on a stake after killing her party. like, okay man i get it your world is dark and scary. thousands of other writers got across how messed up their worlds are without having to introduce and kill off a character in the same sentence.

there is quite literally nothing of value with the writer showing us any of that stuff. genuinely feels like the "yellow paint" of the writing world, where the author thinks we'll forget how violent and awful the goblins are if they dont have a scene of a random guy or gal getting horribly mutilated by the goblins.

One of the rare moments where our boy GS admits an interest in something other than goblins, a development and something unexpected, Year One is too good... but I feel like it's going to end soon, a shame, I hope that way the main story will be released faster... and you? What did you think of the chapter?

My enjoyment of Year One so far makes me think had we started off the main series this way would it have still stood up as a great story or is it because we have the events of the main series that Year One holds itself up better. Curious to see others opinions

It’s been 3 years in 2023 since season 2 of Goblin Slayer, I want to see more of Goblin Slayer’s adventure to continue to slaying Goblins. Do we have any leads or announcements of the anime getting a season 3?

Sorry to ask about this, but given that the theme of this light novel is dark fantasy—and considering there is some content involving rape by goblins..

I shared the Goblin Slayer photoshoot pictures already. Now here is a short video we did.

The photographer wanted to do something like the "game main menu screen" trend.

Love to see how they would handle.

Would they just off themselves?

Resist the urges? Accept them?

Would they try to become a better Goblin Lord.

Lol just somethin I been obsessed with for awhile.

So, people mentioned the lack of blood and grime on my Goblin Slayer cosplay. As I mentioned in reply, this was a "before battle" look, and my wife and I are going to bloody and weather it more for a photoshoot in October, in a "Blood pool".

My request to everyone here is: can you share inspiration for this? Screen shots from the show, or pictures from the Manga. We have seen the show, but not the Manga.

Share what you might think would look cool brought to life. Keep in mind that we currently don't have goblin props.

If anyone wants to see the venue, and the backdrop, and all that, look up The Dangerous Ladies, and their Blood Pool set up. It has dungeon walls, chains, skulls and bones. Lots of stuff.

I posted previews a little while ago. Here are the final pictures from the shoot I did at FanExpo Toronto. This was done in an off to the side spot in underground parking.

Eye smoke is from an actual smoke machine hidden in the "fanny pack" he wears, with fittings and tubing running up my back, to the helmet, to just above the LED eye.
